SB Dunk Low Street Hawker

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro ‘Street Hawker’ is a January 2021 release by Nike’s skateboarding line designed by artist Jason Deng. The ‘Street Hawker’ represents the bonding of cultures across China’s sprawling landscape. Food. in particular. plays an important role in inspiring the creative process behind the ‘Street Hawker.’ Six regional food dishes are referenced in the watercolor paintings on both the left and right shoe. The left shoe displays neutral colored panels beginning with the brown Swoosh accenting and extending to the toe and mid-panel. The right shoe is more adventurous in design and features orange leather on the mid-panel. a brown toe. and rainbow-like arrangement on watercolors on the overlay panels.
