The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle ‘Sport Fuchsia’ is yet another high-profile collaboration between the fashion house and Nike that features a futuristic ‘double-up’ aesthetic. On the heels of sacai’s previous chart-topping collections with Nike comes the decidedly contemporary VaporWaffle silhouette. a mash-up of Nike’s Air VaporMax and Waffle Racer runners. This Fall 2020 release does everything in a double-layered style. Sport Fuchsia leather Swoosh branding can be found on the Sail mesh mid-panel. An oversized black painted Swoosh appears beneath the previously mentioned insignia. Tonal cream suede overlays on the eyelets and toe break up the mesh design. In true sacai fashion. two tongues. two sets of shoelaces. and stacked midsole that splits at the heel draws attention without compromising on cohesion.
