The Nike Dunk High ‘Lakers’ is a May 2021 release of the venerable lifestyle shoe that salutes the Los Angeles Lakers’ team uniforms. One of the more adventurous Dunk releases of 2021. the ‘Lakers’ honors the legendary basketball team by employing its uniform colors and branding into its design. The base of the shoe is constructed of a durable black canvas twill material. Contrasting purple leather overlays can be found on the forefoot. eyelets. collar. and heel. A vibrant Varsity Yellow leather Swoosh adorns either side and a Lakers-esque ‘Nike Air’ tongue tag can be found on the top of the black nylon tongue. The embossed ‘Nike’ embroidery appears in Lakers typography on the heel to complete the look. Release date: May 28. 2021.
