Air Max 1 Patta Monarch

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Monarch’ is an October 2021 collaboration between the famed Amsterdam sneaker boutique and Nike on the classic performance running shoe. Patta looked to its connection to its community for inspiration on the unique redesign of the iconic Air Max 1. The ‘Monarch’ offers a new twist on the Air Max 1 with a wavy pattern on the mudguard. Subtle but effective. the modified look progresses the timeless design with a modern flair. Signature Patta branding appears on the tongue and inner lining. A small Swoosh is embroidered on the lateral side of the mudguard. The upper is constructed from silver mesh and the overlays appear in a tonal felt material. An orange Swoosh is located on either side of the shoe and ‘Nike Air’ detailing is embroidered on the heel. A small visible Max Air unit in the heel of the cream midsole completes the look.
